While in March we still have the occasional hailstorm in Munich, 4 hours down south, spring is fully in progress. To leave the cold behind, I take my girls on a roadtrip. Swiftly, we are leaving the snow-capped Alps behind us to find ourselfs surrounded by palm and orange trees at the sparkly Lake Garda. Being here in shoulder season and staying 40 minutes away from the seaside in the village Montichiari, the three of us can afford a fancy suite in a small Palazzo. During the day we visit several little villages around the huge and almost ocean like lake.
