Autum seems to be a pretty good season to visit Lisbon as I am awaited by a just slightly overcasted sky and a pleasant warm but not too warm temperature. The latter seems crucial when I see the first stairways I am supposed to walk up. As Lisbon stretches over seven hills, "up and down" is my motto for the next four days.
In the evenings Lisbons streets are full of music. Talented street musicians play on every corner and square and the sound of Fado echoes out of open restaurant doors. Oh, and the food in Lisbon is very good! Here are some nice restaurants for delicious Tapas: Lucinda's in Alfama & Xapuri in Chiado.
